Circuit low does not by itself prove that actual airflow is too low.
P010C means Mass or Volume Air Flow B Circuit Low. The controller detects an input outside the expected low electrical range for the B airflow channel. The generic letter B is not a universal bank-2 location, and the word low does not establish that the engine is physically receiving too little air.
Save the full scan and identify the installed B sensor, connector and signal format. Check the required supply and return paths, then validate the sensor output and what reaches the controller. Use the correct meter or scope method for that design rather than a universal voltage or airflow target.
What Does the P010C Code Mean?
An airflow sensor converts a physical measurement into an electrical signal that the controller can use. Diagnosis must keep those two stages separate. A defective supply, damaged signal path, connector problem or invalid sensor output can create a low circuit record without first proving a restriction in the air path.
Different designs encode their information differently. Audi's September 2013 A8/A8L/S8 reference includes application-specific signal-timing criteria for P010C. This is a useful warning against treating every MAF circuit as the same DC-voltage sensor; none of that document's timing thresholds are transferred here.
Channel B must be mapped from the actual engine's information. Do not assume every vehicle has two interchangeable MAF sensors or that B always means bank 2. Where temperature sensing is integrated in the same assembly, identify each circuit correctly instead of treating all terminals as airflow-signal connections.
